p.s. Contest

Anybody who responds on the blog that they are fine I will put their name in a drawing for a fabulous worthless prize, to be picked by me, culled from my condo. A surprise, it might be a turtle or a box of Kleenex -- only the winner will know.

You have from now until my next blog to respond.

It will be a fine contest.

How The Heck Are You?

Happy St Pat's day to you. Now that is a fine day.

Here's Connor with an almost faux Mohawk and some cookie smears. He's fine.

It's raining, a lot, here in Seattle. Ian, Roger Stephanie, Christian and I are all doing fine. My back is healing and I'm getting my sinus/chest crap under control.

My honey roasted cashews for breakfast are fine.

Work is fine. Friends are fine. Car is fine. Movies are fine. Books are fine. The almost full moon is fine. Dogs are fine. Book club is fine. Lunch with Claire and Lynn were fine. Lunch was an Irish pub for fish and chips with Claire and The Saffron Grill with Lynn -- fine, fine.

Marc? Fine?
Jason is driving English style? Fine?
Jerry and Jane? Fine?
Nora and cruise plans? Fine?
Jean, Cathy and Brittany check-em-outs and such? Fine?
Weather fine?
Jeff, what are your plans for an upcoming fine adventure?
Martin and Bailee? Fine?
Janice, Art and canine friends? Fine?
Art's had his trouble but as always is overcoming.
Kathy and Mike Nolan are planning stuff. Lots of stuff. Fine
I'm making Kathy's Cheese Soup today. 12/10/10
It had better be fine.

I've been able to have two playdates with Connor recently due to my back finally healing enough that I can keep up with him, and then I have the expected one today, fine, fine, fine. Life is looking fine. He still loves his Granny even when it's raining.

Claire's doing fine. She finished her seven weeks of radiation and now has to have a Doppler test and CAT scan to direct the next phase of her treatment. Doppler? Doesn't Doppler track weather? She is out of pain and the tumor is shrinking. Really, really fine.

Fine is worse than great and better than bad.

I'm reading Three Junes by Julia Glass, it's pretty fine. Getting ready to tackle Cutting for Stone, I'm a little scared.

Saw Hunger, Everlasting Memories, Crazy Heart, The Boys are Back, Revanche, Morning Glory, and Five Minutes of Heaven. Irish, Swedish, American, Australian, German, American and Irish. All were fine, none as good as You, The Living which I have already mentioned, about fifty vignettes on the human condition, except for maybe Crazy Heart that was a good movie.

Life isn't always a great banana time, sometimes it is only fine and that is fine by me.
Mighty fine, mighty fine.
